About this blog.

This blog is a bit about the science of nutrition – hence nutri-bit. It’s aimed at your average person (more than none but less than A level science knowledge) who would like to know a bit more about nutrition. Your average Sunday Times reader, for example.

I explore the the science of several topics such as the paleo diet, fat metabolism and sugar. My dissertation was entitled “Dietary guidelines: Should we be eating less carbohydrates, no sugar and fasting?” This blog runs parallel to the literature within my dissertation.

the takeaway

It’s my nutritional play on words that gives you something to chew on.

I hope you find the blog enjoyable and informative.

Produced for my dissertation submission in 2016.
