This blog is a bit about the science of nutrition – hence nutri-bit. It’s aimed at your average person (more than none but less than A level science knowledge) who would like to know a bit more about nutrition. Your average Sunday Times reader, for example.

I explore the the science of several topics such as the paleo diet, fat metabolism and sugar. My dissertation was entitled “Dietary guidelines: Should we be eating less carbohydrates, no sugar and fasting?” This blog runs parallel to the literature within my dissertation.
